Michael Tweed
Assistant Professor of Architecture


Michael Tweed is a registered architect and LEED accredited professional with more than fifteen years experience in architecture and urban design. Michael received his B. Arch from Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA, and a MUD (Master of Urban Design) from the University of Michigan. He has a wide range of experience from residential and institutional construction documentation to urban design and master planning. Working with Wallace Roberts and Todd, LLC on the Civic Vision for the Central Delaware, he helped reimagine a seven-mile stretch of the Delaware Riverfront as it passed through Philadelphia. In addition to practicing and guest lecturing and attending jurys at many schools throughout Philadelphia, Michael regularly taught at the Philadelphia Community College. As the Architecture Department coordinator, he also taught at Triton College located just outside Chicago.
